Soil Health Workshop was Blast!
April 10th Workshop on "Regenerative Gardening & Soil Health" with Justin Duell

On Thursday April 10th, neighbors in the Oshkosh WI area gathered inside of the Bowenstreet Market maker space for our first community workshop. Justin Duell from The G Farm in Larsen WI led a discussion on permaculture, fungi and microbial soil health, regenerative gardening practices and composting.

Surrounded by art, color and creatively reused furniture – the sustainably furnished venue was the perfect space for a discussion on sustainable practices in gardening...one in which the locals had plenty of input to include...sharing ideas ranging from garden bed design, worm farming and compost sourcing.

Snacks were locally sourced from White River Bakery in Neshkoro, and attendees enjoyed lively discussion during and after the event.

"SteadGoods shares the vision for a more sustainably sourced local economy...and local community based food production is an easy place to start!" one founder stated. "If everyone grew a little, and exchanged it neighbor to neighbor, imagine the emissions, packaging, and waste we could eliminate."
